Improving Neighbourhoods Board
The purpose of Improving Neighbourhoods is to make decisions concerning the strategy and implementation of the Safer Stronger Communities Funding. The SSC Funding covers 5 King's Lynn ward: Fairstead, North Lynn, South & West Lynn, Gaywood Chase, St Margaret’s with St Nicholas.
The Improving Neighbourhoods Board Members include -
- A Total of six Resident Members, with at least one resident from each of the five SSCF neighbourhoods
- Decision-makers with responsibility for the delivery of the key services in / for those five neighbourhoods, these being Housing, Crime, Environmental Services, Education, Worklessness and Health
- A Champion for each of the four areas of Communities of Interest to include Young People, Older People, Diversity and Disability
- Four Councillors, two from King’s Lynn and West Norfolk BC and two from the County Council
