The Safer Stronger Communities Partnership combines the responsibilities of the Diverse Community Forum, the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and the Improving Neighbourhoods Board. It's aims are to
- reduce crime
- reassure the public
- reduce the fear of crime
- build respect
- reduce anti social behaviour
Building safer communities and building stronger communities are equally important; actions to address one will often contribute to the other. The population of West Norfolk has undergone rapid changes in the make up of its community. This Partnership will seek to address issues of race, minority integration, welfare and focus the support of public authorities to ensure that capacity is provided to services used by West Norfolkâs diverse community. |
